YOUTH CORNER
HOLY
EUCHARIST HERITAGE SCHOOL
The Holy Eucharist Heritage School offers children a weekly teaching program in Ukrainian language and culture. The School is sponsored by Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church.
FOR WHOM?
The School currently offers instruction for Grade 1 & 2 levels only. Enrolment is limited to children of ages 5 to 10.
WHEN?
Classes begin on
Saturday in September
and continue every Saturday from 10:45 am. to 1:00 pm.
Parents have the option of enrolling their children in the VESNA Dance Group and/or the Heritage School. The VESNA Dance Group rehearsals begin at 9:30 am every Saturday, followed by the Heritage School Program, which begins at 10:45 am and continues until 1:00 pm. Children need to bring their own lunch to class.
WHERE?
Classes are held in the St. Nicholas and Angel’s Rooms. Please use the
back doors to the hall to enter the classroom area.
TEACHER
Our teacher is Ms. Maria Korostynskyj, a highly qualified and talented
teacher for grade school children.
WHEN DO CLASSES END?
Classes will end in June, 2007
WHAT ELSE IS BEING OFFERED?
Children are also encouraged to take part in the VESNA Dance Group
Program, which offers instruction for Ukrainian Dance, Ballet and
Character on Saturdays, fom 9:30 to 10:30 am.
FEES
First child: $150.00 • Second child: $125.00 • Third child: $100.00

WHEN?
Weekly classes will begin on the first Saturday after Labour Day
Weekend, at 9:30 am. (first group) and 10:30 am. (second group). Classes
will continue every Saturday, from September to June.
WHERE?
Practices are held in the hall of Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic
Church, located at 515 Broadview Avenue, just south of Danforth.
Choreographer
Classes are professionally instructed by dance director, dancer and
choreographer, ANDREI PENDIK, graduate in Ballet and Ukrainian Folk
Dance.
Fees
Juniors: ages 4 to age 6 -- $200.00. Seniors: $225.00 per child.
Discounts: 2nd child - $25.00 off; 3rd child - $50.00 off.

2. DISCIPLINE: Should my child’s behaviour in class be such that it is disruptive to the rest of the class, the dance instructor may ask my child to withdraw from that particular class.
3. DRESS CODE: I understand that my child must wear the proper dance clothes for class. Skirts and headbands for the girls and pants and belts for the boys will be supplied for concerts.
4. LIABILITY RELEASE: I accept responsibility for possible risk of injury to my child, and hold Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church blameless in the event of any injury, during or after class, both within and without Holy Eucharist Church facilities.
