The Parish Nurse is a Registered Nurse with specialized
training, who is called to the ministry. The Parish Nurse at

What is the function of the Parish Nursing Ministry
Committee?
Established by the parish, the Parish Nursing Ministry Committee
advises and works with the clergy and parish nurse. It also
plays a major role in developing, implementing and evaluating
programs and services in response to the identified needs of the
congregation.
These unique programs model, in a practical way, the whole
person approach to health and wellness.
